Jamie Whitaker learned the trade from his father working on historic Lowcountry restorations across Charleston and Berkeley County. He founded Lowcountry Heritage in 2008, and today he runs it alongside his wife Sarah and their daughter Emily — the third generation carrying the craft forward.
